Luxury Safari lodges in Rwanda and Uganda

Rwanda and Uganda have quietly become two of Africa’s most compelling “high-end and low-impact” safari destinations. Because gorilla permits are capped and expensive, and park authorities favour small-footprint tourism, the lodges that have grown up around Volcanoes National Park in rwanda, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Queen Elizabeth national Park, Kibale Forest in Uganda and beyond are disproportionately luxurious for the size of these countries — architecturally ambitious, conservation-linked, and priced for travellers who want depth of experience over scale.
